Welcome to Care Partners

A Voluntary Organisation which provides befriending and groupwork to children and adults with learning and / or physical disabilies.

Care Partners have been operating since 1994 and provide a valuable service within the community of North Ayrshire.

Our primary aim and objective is to recruit, asess and train volunteer befrienders who then provide a quality befriending service to children and adults with disabilities. To complement
this service we also provide a Groupwork programme.

This specialist service allows parents a positive break from the caring role, the focus on community befriending allows young disabled people to gain confidence and independence within a caring environment.

Care Partners are continually looking to recruit suitable volunteer befrienders to give some time and commitment to the children and adults we work with.

To become a volunteer befriender you do not need experience and qualifications, we will provide training and support to help develop your skills.
